I “was” in a toxic relationship. I have been seeking inner peace and knowledge ,I was able to digest and apply the information you put out…it hit me hard! You presented raw and unfiltered, many times my feelings were hurt, but I hung in there, you taught me boundaries, self respect, critical thinking skills, financial independence and responsibility and to hold myself accountable for the part I played in any negativity, I have purchased both your books and binged watch your videos. I absolutely don't think the greatest issue is of a lack of access to knowledge. If anything, we are living through the greatest expansion of accessto knowledge in human history. Information.... education... it is everywhere. Answers are a few taps and mere seconds away. What we are experiencing is something far more terrqifyingly complicated: chosen ignorance. We don't lack knowledge. We selectively reject it! Purposefully. We seek only information that confirms what we already believe, surround ourselves only with people who reinforce it, and dismiss anything that asks us to reconsider ourselves. Sometimes ignorance isn't just the absence of information... it's the refusal to let information change you. And perhaps that's the most dangerous kind of ignorance, because you can educate someone who doesn't know.. but what do you do with someone who has been educated and yet chooses not to see? The problem isn't that humanity doesntq know or cant find the answers anymore. It's that we have become extraordinarily good at finding reasons not to accept them or accepting only the answers that reinforce our biases and beliefs.
