@bryce_turner0: We have nutrition advice backwards… 👇 1. “Avoid Red Meat” 🥩 Red meat is one of the healthiest foods on the planet, it gives your body complete protein, an abundance of micronutrients, and healthy fats. Saturated fat is not inherently harmful, and red meat is a health food! 2. “Cook with Canola Oil” ⚠️ We’re being told that vegetable oils are “heart healthy”, when in reality these oils are ultra-processed and high in Omega 6 polyunsaturated fats that oxidize easier in our bodies. You’re much better off cooking with stable, saturated fats like butter or coconut oil 3. “Limit Egg Consumption” 🥚 Eggs used to be demonized because of the cholesterol found in them but dietary cholesterol actually has minimal impact on blood cholesterol for most people. If anything, most people aren’t eating enough eggs! 4. “Raw Milk is Dangerous” 🥛 Raw milk contains naturally occurring enzymes like lipase and (small amounts of) lactase along with beneficial bacteria that pasteurization destroys. Raw milk also often comes from better-raised animals (when sourced well) where ultra-pasteurized milk often comes from less healthy cows. 5. “Limit your Sodium” 🧂 Sodium is a required electrolyte…the original push to reduce sodium came from concerns about high blood pressure, but the real problem is ultra-processed foods that contain refined carbs, industrial fats, and high-sodium. That combo, not salt alone, is what drives issues. 6. “Everything in Moderation” 🤔 This sounds nice, but it assumes ingredients are only harmful in excess. Some things like alcohol and artificial food dyes are inherently harmful to humans and are not “healthy” to consume in any amounts. Moderation has now become a socially acceptable way to keep consuming things that we know are bad for us. Be intentional with what you put in your body! —- #naturalfood #healthyeating

I am growing up on a farm in the woods, and raw milk is okay for you, but only if its a source you trust, I love goat milk and cow milk. So I drink it raw, and Ive compared it to store bought, its like plastic when I drink it. Raw milk is OKAY when you have a source you TRUST
