I agree that chuck is more per pound. If you're feeding a bunch of people, do a brisket. I'm making it for 2, so I get the $35 chuck roast instead of $100+ brisket.

Idk about other areas of the US, but on the east side of WA a chuck roast costs 7.99-8.99/lb depending on where I get it and a brisket is 5.69-6.49/lb, we can’t be calling it “poor man’s” anything just because you buy less of it at once, regardless shit looks fireeee 🔥🔥
