why do you need ice if your drink is cold? The ice melts and than you have water ,and the taste of the cola is gone.

What’s the problem? In the USA you get a glass full of ice 😒 and your drink is complet waisted because of the icecubes. In Europe you get a cold drink. Much better

We do have ice in the Netherlands, but usually in summer. Drinks come out of the fridge so it’s cold. And drinking ice cold drinks all the time is not good for your digestive system anyway.

I hate ice in drinks, only in the summer when it's really hot is ok. Ice just water down your drinks.

I’m from Spain but I live in The Netherlands. I always get ice with a cold drink in both countries, so it always surprises me when I see these videos! In fact, my mom doesn’t want ice and she’s always specifically asking for NO ice and she often still gets it 😅. And I should mention this is always the case even when we visit other cities. So where aren’t they giving ice then? 👀🤷♀️Not saying OP is lying btw, just saying I have a completely different experience so it’s not a “Europe thing”.

We just got back from Paris and Amsterdam. I loved Amsterdam and want to go back explore more of the Netherlands. The people were so nice and food was delicious!
