@lisarose.yoga: This is the easiest way to „undo“ 8 hours of sitting. Why does your lower back always feel „crunched“ or stiff after a long day? If your first instinct is to lean forward and stretch your back, you’re actually just pulling on the symptoms. The real issue is often the Psoas - a deep muscle that connects your spine to your legs. When you sit all day, this muscle shortens and literally „yanks“ your lower spine forward, crushing your discs together. By stretching the Psoas (the front) instead of your back, you release that „internal tug-of-war“ and let your spine finally decompress. How to do the 60-Second Reset: 1.Stack 1-2 firm pillows on your bed. 2.Sit in front of them and lay back so the pillows are under your hips/pelvis (not your mid-back!). 3.Let your legs go straight and arms go wide. 4.Take deep belly breaths and let your hips get „heavy.“ ⚠️ What to keep in mind: No Pinching: If it feels „stabby“ or pinches, move the pillows slightly lower toward your glutes. The Exit: When you’re done, bend your knees and roll to your side to get up - don’t sit straight up! Save this for later ✅
