This is by far the best common app essay I’ve read on here. It’s not a sob story, overusing complex diction, or trying to hard to fulfill a metaphor. It felt like a real story that was written with passion. An essay like this can’t be replicated and isn’t formulaic and is solely inspired by a personal experience. I read this essay and felt proud and wanted to root for you, and imo that’s what I think a college essay shld do. Amongst tiktok writers you my friend have a real knack for it.
