I can’t get over how many layers of discomfort that bit created. Like the weird unnecessary sexualization of young queens, the making Nini look “boring”. The animal portrayal. Like you can see all of the queens trying to figure out how to react to that shit because they were just as uncomfortable. Ashley Madison pointed out that it could have been just as funny if they were all bad stick figure drawings. Like it was so unnecessary for a terrible, unfunny, problematic joke.

Oh, it is that deep. The training data for a lot of those models is very biased & eurocentric. The generative AI extending Juicy's brown skin into a brown horse rather than a 'brown'-skinned person shows the learnt relations between words & images of the model, it's all mathematics. Unless their prompt was to turn Juicy into a centaur the model's relation could rather generate a brown animals than a person of color. If the prompt was 'This person [Juicy] aa greek mythological figure' it's still problematic...It's distasteful either way. Also using AI to undress & oversexualize Myki, when she looks most like a woman out of the Top 4. Very common in AI as well to use it for suggestive deepfakes of women.
