i did so much research on bpd, i watched podcasts, spent days finding information, etc and i relate to so much bpd traits. I don't wanna self diagnose but i have a really intens suspicion that i might have it, but im a minor and my parents doesn't wanna take me to a doctor. This is so suffocating

I only recently told my mum I think I could possibly have bpd, I’ve been going through mental struggles for years but particularly in the past few months and I never knew what it was or what it could be and I always thought that bpd was like bipolar and yknow really chaotic which it probably it but I always assumed that it would really obvious to see but after doing a lot of research and listening to people with bpd describe it, it feels like I finally can relate my symptoms and problems as well as my mental space with a cause, the problem is that even if I get an appointment to get diagnosed I already have adhd and they can have overlapping symptoms so idk if it would just be a waste of time but I really want to know for definite what is wrong with me

I have all of these traits except for empathy I can turn off my empathy at times it switches from extremely empathetic to none at all, when my friend told me there dad died at first I didn’t care then when I got home I had a depressive episode and cried about him and his dad for hours I have major depression, but also have a lot of bpd traits I am only a minor and cannot diagnose or speak up

Deadah true. I have like so many outfits for different days too. One day im gothic girl, other day im hippie and etc... No constant style that would fit my soul at all :(

Not to mention the weeks I feel so depressed and then will randomly have so much energy, have so much motivation, feel extremely beautiful and amazing about myself and then it all comes crashing down again
