@texas..danni: #duet with @Lisa #race Im honor of Mickey Rooney (9/23/1920-4/6/2014) I figured I'd share one of the most beautiful pieces of filmmaking ever made. The Black Stallion is a modern retelling of the story of Alexander the Great and Bucephalous. When I was a child we lived in Redmond, WA. They had a large horse expo at one of the facilities in the city. The whole reason I made my dad take me, is because Cass Olé, the Arabian horse that was cast as *The Black* was a feature. They let him run loose at liberty. He ws well into his 20s at that time, but age hadn't seemed to touch him. He looked just as wild and free as he did on that beach. As they led him around the arena, all of us starstruck kids, got a pet. I'll never forget it. Or how my Dad made a real life dream come true. By allowing me to follow my heart. ❤️
