I’m awake. And I’m aware. And I think that’s why I am so unhappy with the way life for so many and for myself is going. I wake up every day grateful that I’m alive but sad because having a home is so unattainable. I turned 50 and I used to think that by now I would have a home a place I can go to to have somewhere to land where my kids can go and come with their families and yet nothing. Everything just keeps getting more expensive. No one‘s talking about the everyday struggles that we’re going through here in America and I’m starting to lose hope. The only connection we all have with one another is through the Internet. But there’s so much misinformation and sometimes it just gets more upsetting. I just think there’s good moments, but they’re just far in a few in between
