Because somewhere along the way, people started acting like motherhood was the end of a woman… when for me, it was the stretching. The refining. The place where God was building me for more. I didn’t stop becoming… I just became in a different way. Yes, I carried life. Yes, I nurtured, poured, gave… but I also got back up and handled what was assigned to me. Because God never said I had to choose between being a mother and being who He called me to be.
