Uppababy should replace the stroller. You had it in the travel bag. The whole point of the travel bag is to protect the stroller.

File a claim with American Airlines and send pics. They will send you a reimbursement but it takes like 2 months to receive. It happened to my vista stroller so I know the pain. Good luck and you got this mama!

If you have to buy a new stroller - get a bugaboo butterfly that WILL fit in the overhead. We refuse to gate check any baby items.

Yup that’s a rookie mistake. Always get a cheaper stroller to take with you. Never take your main one. Same with convertible car seats.
