They think we (teachers) can convince their children to be trans? We can’t even convince them to do a homework assignment most of the time. These supposed parents don’t have an inkling of an idea of the torment, the bullying, and the trauma a kid who is actually trans must go through in a high school today. That kid has to be a whole new level of brave and self-assured just to survive—literally—the abuse. “Leftist teachers” are the ones supporting DEI not because we want more kids to suffer, but because we accept and teach ALL the kids who need education and support, including the ones being indoctrinated by their right wing parents with blind hatred and weaponized exclusionary tactics. Instead of sorting and blaming others, try reaching out and getting to know another person. You might find that all humans actually have something in common: we’re all human. We all struggle and cry and dream and strive. Stop putting others down, and offer a hand in friendship.

what really bothers me is that I seriously doubt that any of these people that spew this BS have ever bothered to volunteer in their children's classrooms or actually get involved with their children's education. they don't parent. they want laws and policies so that the government will parent for them and cater to their beliefs and force them on everyone else. it's like all the books being banned by people who've never actually read them.

I got told that I’m academia indoctrinated because I pointed out to someone that my views on something were based on scientific data and historical context. When they said that, I told them that the opposite of academia indoctrinated is brainwashed by propaganda aimed at people of low intelligence and no critical thinking skill so because they’ve displayed the intelligence of a toddler, I would be a grown up and not argue with them as it’s not fair to them and if doesn’t look good for me to argue with a toddler.

I worked in the school system for 12 years and we daily worked in transitioning children... from five year olds that couldn't read and write to kids that could do that. And we "made" them learn their colors too. oh the shame. sounds like these people never learned to think for themselves. talk about TDS!

Parents wouldn't question what their kids were getting taught if they were actually active in their kid's learning. If anything Susan, your kid is learning all that crap from the unfettered 24/7 access to the full expanse of the internet you have set them in front of since they were 2 weeks old.
