I’m not buying this at all. The way she said “ME” and then quickly corrected to “US” already felt off. Then the timeline doesn’t make sense. She claims Russ introduced himself after Veronica was already born but from how Veronica is communicating, she sounds old enough to be eating solids and maybe even talking a little. That’s not a newborn, that’s months if not over a year later. So which is it? Because she also says Hank’s parents wanted to be involved after Veronica was born, and that Russ threatened them so they backed off. But if Russ wasn’t even around until much later, how was he threatening anyone right after the birth? That doesn’t add up. And honestly, based on the clips we’ve all seen of Hank’s parents, I don’t believe for a second they were scared of Russ. The whole story feels inconsistent and rewritten after the fact. I think she is still lying.
