More than likely, the hard drive was a solid state. You could’ve just pulled it out of the computer put in an external tray and get into your current computer transferred files.

Okay sooo next time. Don’t try to turn the computer on. Like don’t even open the screen. Bed of rice immediately. Let it sit for at least a full day. A lil room w a dehumidifier wouldn’t hurt either
