Laura was welcomed to the San Diego Zoo in December through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Plan, a program that’s truly import-ant in protecting vulnerable species like hers. With fewer than 5,000 giant anteaters left in native habitats, we are honored to get to care for this gorgeous girl.
