I found all of my adult female friends in some of the worst moments in their lives. They are my favorite people (outside of my husband and kids). One I met in a Yahoo chat room 20 years ago. We were both overwhelmed and felt completely lost and alone. We've welcomed babies and now grandbabies. The other I really got to know through her divorce because her then husband cheated with my husband's dead to us sister. I moved her in with my family and she became my sister. And my other adult best friend came 3 years ago when I started working and we were both learning who we were as women instead of mothers and wives. We grow up and together every day.
