RI ... 48 miles long and 37 miles wide, but has 400 miles of coast line. Look up "Nibbles Woodaway"... the big blue bug.

Put each state on a card and have them draw 2 out. They can choose between the 2 they drew.

Texas- amazing food and nature. We have every weather and every type of land form you could think of. Also side note, El Paso is closer to California then it is to its own state capital of Austin.

I grew up in Arkansas and my parents still live there. It is never chosen because people forget it exists and it seems boring. But like the other commenter said Arkansas is absolutely stunning. The natural state has earned its name in every way. Arkansas is also the leading state in rice production. They produce nearly half of the rice crops for the country.

Nevada - we are the “battle born” state because we achieved statehood during the civil war! also known as “the silver state” because of the importance of mining to our history and current economy! we have booming cities with Las Vegas and beautiful nature with Lake Tahoe and everything in between :)

Indiana! I love how many rural areas we have! Funny fact for the kids is if you eat Mcds chicken nuggets you more than likely will get a nugget shaped like Indiana😂 lol

Arkansas is the natural state. It is truly a beautiful state, especially the ozarks and river areas. There is also a lot of rich history in this state.

Hawai’i! That’s probably one people would choose anyway, but I love it because my kids get to play outside all year long! They love fishing in the ocean, going crab hunting (at night on the beach), and of course, surfing and boogie boarding. Hawai’i is also a melting pot of different cultures. There are lots of Polynesians (Hawaiians, Tongans, Samoans, Tahitians), but also many people with Japanese, Filipino, Fijian, and Māori heritage. We love learning about different people and traditions.

California! It is not just Hollywood. It is big redwoods up north, sprawling deserts down south, cities, farmland, everything you can think of. We have the most National Parks and are the 6th biggest economy in the world. A melting pot of a state, so many cultures and culture fusions.
