I don’t know how to stop missing you, especially when nothing really ended badly between us. We just slowly became distant, and somehow that hurts more. What hurts the most is knowing you didn’t find someone new, because a part of me still hopes there’s a chance for us somewhere in the future. And maybe that’s why I can’t fully let go. I still replay everything in my head. The conversations, the silence, the moments I could’ve handled better. I know I wasn’t perfect, and maybe I loved you in ways that were messy sometimes, but none of it was fake. Now I’m just here, trying to become a better version of myself while still carrying the thought of you in everything I do.
