I think the boy was never found. That’s why she didn’t expose Emma’s secret. If she exposed Emma, people would ask how she found out. If they knew it was from the dinner conversation, everyone involved in that dinner would’ve been asked about it. Everyone’s confession would’ve been exposed. That would’ve opened the door to look into the boys whereabouts

Rachel didn't like Emma even before her confession and you can tell based off of the first interaction we see with them. I wouldn't be surprised if her speech was written like that before the confession.

I love this take, the way she spiraled so badly was drastic. Charlie’s character too, the reason he might’ve been so thrown off by Emma was bc it was like he was looking through the perspective of who he bullied

Charlie had a perfect read on Emma in his original vows when he said she is the more empathetic person he knows/it inspires him. She was never being inauthentic with him. it's too bad that learning her secret made him doubt her. she proves it again at the end when she forgives him .
