I'm amazed that this is considered innovation. Diesel engines have been doing this since they were invented. Gasoline engines have been using this technology since at least 1970.

funny thing is when u do this u take the heat out of the pistons and put it in the oil. on our cars we had to run bigger oil coolers to deal with the added heat
