I KNOW olivia and bella are from los angeles and I probably shouldn’t have put them, but they’re still children of immigrants which is why I put them, especially olivia cs she’s my fav singer so I wanted to include her. As for the video in general honestly I just wanted to include some celebrities that became globally recognized even without being fully american. I get that chosing to put adèla and bad bunny along with jennie and damiano for example who didn’t have to leave their country to became famous, I still wanted to include people who aren’t american, as the song says “the baddest bitches ain’t in la”, meaning they do not come from there. Anyone can interpret this song as they want, and I thought it included not only immigrants who had to leave their country, but also people who js arent american.
