I never stopped loving him, I just grew more and more dissapointed until the relationship felt like a broken marriage staying together only for the kids

I waited for him to become better until I realized my own heart couldn’t wait for somebody that wasn’t willing to become better for me, I shouldn’t have been the one pouring my everything into it and not getting the same effort back, so I fell out of love with him, did it hurt? Yeah. Was it the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make? Also yeah. But I had to put me FIRST this time. Before I lost myself completely.

It is hard to keep loving after being stepped on your heart , time after time. And then all of a sudden it changes, you realise that the real pain must be in the heart of the other one, being capable to keep doing this.

5 tears total but only about 1 year after we had our son. Being mom and dad while working full time got me to the point I resented him.
