My biggest mistake as of now was loving someone with everything I had. I gave all the love I could give, to the point that when she left, she didn’t just take my heart she took the part of me that knew how to keep going. I was left with no inspiration, no self-control, no motivation, and nothing but the emptiness of missing someone who no longer chose me. But what hurts the most isn’t that I gave too much. It’s that even after giving everything I had, I still found myself asking, Was my love the love she needed? Was it the love she wanted? Was it the love she deserved? And maybe that’s the cruelest part of loving someone deeply giving them all of you, only to spend the rest of your days wondering if it was ever enough.
