@aaron.the.rn: I can still remember my life back in the Philippines… the days when all I had were dreams of moving abroad as a nurse. And now I am living it! And yes—life is still hard. But lately, I’ve been reminding myself of the things I often overlook. Sometimes I forget how blessed I am… I have a roof over my head— living with relatives here in Florida who make me feel like I belong. There’s always food on my plate. And sometimes even more than enough. The abundance, the options, something I don’t take lightly. I have people who love me. Family in the UK. 🇬🇧 Friends and family back home in the Philippines.🇵🇭 And connections all over the world. 🌎 I have a healthy body— one that allows me to walk, run, swim, and show up for a job I genuinely enjoy. And above all, I thank the Lord. Because when I look at my life, I can see His hand in it all. 📖 “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Life may not be perfect. But there is always something to be grateful for.
