😬. My husband would change the baby even if she didn’t need it so she wasn’t sitting in a “stale” diaper. He said fresh undies always make everyone feel better.

I know the “crying for her mom” is just an excuse for him to not do anything, but what if it’s also the baby crying for her mom because she instinctually knows that mom is the only reliable parent? 😅

My husband HATED changing poop diapers. He has a weak stomach for it, but I didnt care! I carried them for 9 months, I went through hell during labor, they fed from ME, im the one waking up all hours of the night, the LEAST you could do is change a damn diaper! after I told them that, he never complained again. Still gagged, but no complaints

I’m not a parent, but I would imagine that a baby can sense a general distaste from someone, also leading to being fussy. Showing love and positivity goes a long way.

This is really making me very thankful for my husband even now when our son is almost 22 years old! He was and is a great husband. And in spite of having a challenging stomach, he still changed our son’s diapers when needed.

lol my husband had a horrible gag reflex yet he always changes the diapers. Even when it’s a blow out. Will ask me to give her a bath and he picks out the outfit and towel turn of fans and ac. Then has towel diaper ready and tell me to shower since I’m always a mess after bath. Then put the baby to sleep ALL BY HIM SELF

So blessed not have this kind of husband. Mine had more baby experience than me before, and he was so hands on at the hospital because I was so tired. He ended up being the one to teach me a lot of the things too. I'm forever grateful for him
