You are wrong, you made lots of mistakes. You don’t start steering immediately when you are in parallel with the other car. When in parallel with the other car, you reverse without steering until the steering wheel is in line with the trunk of the other car. This parallel parking technique is a one time entry without moving forward and backwards several times.
