Since I don't work at retail establishments I don't utilize the self checkout, I go to a register with an employee and check out there. I am not in such a hurry to do their job.

Our Walmart doesn't allow you to take any electronic to a self-checkout. You either pay directly in the electronics section, or they take your item to a designated checkout where a cashier guards it until you checkout with them.

walmart now has a system that shows if you put an item in the bag and not scanned it calls for rep and then it plays a video of the action.

I never liked self checkout…. Until I got Walmart plus. Now I scan everything AS I SHOP and at the self checkout, I just scan the code on my phone and walk out. It’s beautiful

oh last week, i was at Walmart self checkout, i got distracted by my toddler playing around and I had 2 identical items but only registered one, I didn't even got to the bag to put the items in, when the system locked and called a assistant. Video of me doing it instantly up and ready for review with me and assistant 😬

Walmart is annoying cuz i scanned all my items and they thought im stealing i went to the register they rescanned it all and guess what my total was less than i scanned at self checkout! They played themselves 🤷🏻♀️

I was shopping at a Walmart and put a pot & pan set on the bottom of the basket (I had a lot of items). Some manager (I believe) thought I was going to steal it. He followed me around the store, not even attempting to be descreet. When I did self checkout, I scanned the set first so it would be at the top of the receipt. Sure enough I was stopped at the door to show my receipt. First time ever! I showed my receipt and told the person that it was the set they were looking for. I have NEVER stolen from anywhere! Needless to say, I go out of my way to not shop at that store again. I did call and complain. That was absolute BS!!
