Do what you like is my motto. I like to cook and I can cook for my partner. But if my partner would prefer to cook for me I would actually prefer it. I think just balancing it between the two is good, but you should never be forced. I usually let him do laundry and I cook, but if I’m tired he can cook for a few days as well and I can pay him back
