Im IT Support and I use chatgpt and gemini like a lot! Sometimes we encountered issues, I ask chatgpt and provided the steps. Some very unique issues and turns out needed to force install using powershell commands etc like so many things

I forgot I asked IT for help and gave permission to take control of my computer and my mouse started moving on its own trying to click on stuff and I kept moving it thinking I clicked on one of those spam test emails. He pulled up the chat box and told me to stop.

I work in IT, they’re doing this because the solution is so stupidly simple that you should of just googled it first. The amount of times I’ve had someone come to me for something like “it’s telling me I need to type in something to pass a captia” oh ok have you tried typing in the thing it’s showing you on the screen.
