Meeting your dogs needs is an essential step in training and not one which can be overlooked. In human terms, try carrying out a written exam on very little sleep, no exercise and no food. We need our needs to be met in order for us to be able to excel, it’s the same with our pooches!! 📌 Meeting your dogs needs 📌 1️⃣ Proper nutrition, make sure your dog is fed a full, well rounded diet. 2️⃣ Exercise, regular exercise is essential for your pup’s wellbeing for both physical and mental health. 3️⃣ Mental stimulation, providing your dog with ‘jobs’ helps to meet their primal needs - chewing, digging, shredding… 4️⃣ Companionship, whether this is with other dogs or people, social interactions are so important for a happy pup.
