The National Park Service tackles invasive bamboo by trimming each stalk to expose the inner core, then using a paintbrush to apply Roundup directly to the exposed surface. They mix a blue dye into the Roundup so workers can easily track which stalks have already been treated.
apparently I'm on bamboo tok and this is what I keep seeing

Not sure if you’re still dealing with the bamboo issue but check your county’s rules and regulations for bamboo planting. Had the same issue and it’s actually illegal in my county to plant that. The neighbor had to pay for the entire cleanup of my yard, hiring a company to dig out my entire backyard and removing all the roots, just pretty much a whole backyard renovations. Definitely check and explore what your legal options are

30%, vinegar from Lowe's or Home Depot. not the 5% for cooking. also, Amazon sells 75%. vinegar. it will kill all the roots.

no point in digging it up at a high cost, because it will just continue to come back since the neighbors still have it

Step 1, dig a four foot trench inside your fence line. Insert 4x8’ sheet metal into the hole to create a barrier, then fill each side back up with dirt.

You have to dig everything up before it reaches the foundation of the house. Look up what bamboo does

As long as the original root balls are on your neighbors side, the rhizomes will continue to spread, no matter how much you spray or dig. I dug a 2 foot deep trench along the fence and put this thick barrier in. The barrier has to stick out above the dirt about 2 inches. It was hard, but it worked.

They are being fed by the bamboo in the other yard. Even if you have it dug up it on your side it will come back as the neighbor’s bamboo sends roots back into your yard.

There would be no point in digging it up as your neighbor still growing it. U need to pour a concrete wall 3-4 ft down and 8in thick min. That should solve it.

This WILL spread to the foundation of your house if you don’t treat it. Last year’s video showed it getting close. Bamboo is extremely invasive.

You have to dig it out. It’s rhizomes. You also have to install a barrier underground so they won’t spread again

I keep seeing this videos and learned that you’ll have to have the yard dug up, replace the dirt and build a barrier wall around your property
