Asked a coworker what he did over the weekend and he said nothing much went out for a drink and ended up in a nightclub. I was like cool he then was like yea it was amazing seeing the sunrise from the beach (We both live in Watford) So I was like what beach? His reply Eivisa so I was like hang on what nightclub did you go to? His reply Pacha. Apparently he’d finished work Friday, flew to Ibiza, went to Pacha Saturday night, watched sunrise on Sunday morning then flew home Sunday night ready for work Monday morning

my uncle is the same. He used to work closely with the south African embassy and talked about a lot of stories from when he worked there but kinda left a big one out. He was round for dinner when Nelson Mandela died, and when it was on the news, he says "oh I met him once, nice guy" and all of us were gobsmacked. When my dad (his brother and they speak DAILY) asked "why did you never mention this", my uncle simply said "well you didnt ask"

I lived with my husband and brother in law for a time, husband and I went away for 2 weeks came back with in through the door with our luggage, he looks at us and just said ‘how long you been away?’ 😳 We literally live in the same house and he didn’t notice for 2 WEEKS

This is one of my brothers to a tee; unless you ask him a trail of linked specific questions, you find out absolutely nothing. Recent example: I had no idea that one of our aunts had received a negative health diagnosis until I bumped into a family friend walking down a street and brought it up. I told my brother about her current health status and he responded by saying oh, yeah I forgot to tell you about that.
