Christians always say Isaiah 53 is talking about
Jesus which is false and is clearly talking about Israel.
How do we know? Because in Isaiah 41,Isaiah
43,Isaiah 44, Isaiah 45,Isaiah 48,Isaiah 49 the servant
is israel so why would I believe that isaiah 53 is
anybody but israel when the text specifically says that
the servant is Israel in verses like Isaiah 41:8-9,Isaiah
44:1-2,isaiah 44:21,Isaiah 45:4 and isaiah 48:20 and
many christians will say that well ”Isaiah 53 is talking
about a suffering so how can a nation be unalived for
sins ?” the reason is because the righteous remnant,
as lamentation says ”we are bearing our fathers sins”
so if you look at lamentations which is attributed
traditionally to the prophet jeremiah during the
babylonian exile. So if you look at Lamentations 5:7
you can see what jeremiah says about righteous israel
it says ”Our ancestors have sinned and are no more
and we bear their iniquity” so the question to
christians are how could jeremiah and righteous israel
be bearing their fathers iniquity in israel?was jeremiah
killed for anybody's sins? And in Ezekiel in Ezekiel
chapter 2 bears the sins of Israel as well. He lays on
his side and God puts on him the iniquity of Israel. So
bearing the iniquity is actually explained in Jeremiah
where God says ”I will bring the king of Babylon to
punish you. They will take you in exile for 70 years
after the 70 years I will punish them for their iniquity.

Josué (Josh) :
Here’s the problem with you lady and you’re interpreting something of man what that means it means that your interpretation is corrupt not the Holy Spirit interpreting in your own self awareness meaning that it’s you talking about Israel first of all there’s two interpretation you have to understand if a Holy Spirit first is about Israel it’s true, but in second, it’s talk about Jesus Christ why because if you look carefully in Isaiah 53 and you put into a contacts in mentioning himself why because if you go to Matthews Matthew 23 he face describes and Pharisees in what way because God gave a author to his own son, you just ring what it says in the context, but you have to read the whole entire chapter to understand it’s not talk about only Israel. It’s not what Jesus Christ too because you think you know more than others doesn’t mean you don’t know nothing completely read the gospel correctly and you will see how it talks about Jesus Christ facing the religious just like yourself let’s put it this way

Rational :
The chapter itself never says the “servant” is an individual messiah who dies for the sins of the world. In the surrounding chapters, the servant is repeatedly identified as Israel.
Further she said the argument is destroyed by quoting verse 9. Care to go on to verse 10?
He shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days.”
But apolgists will reinvent a new meaning interpreting offspring as "believers". Why didn't the translators use the word believers in the first place? Maybe they may change it in the next version.
To sum up
Isaiah 53 never mentions:
Jesus
Messiah son of David
crucifixion
resurrection on the third day
Trinity
atonement theology as later developed by Paul
Christians read those ideas back into the text after believing in Jesus.
That is what we call intellectual fraud.

Andy & Anas آندي وأنس :
the old testament uses types.
Boaz was a type of kinsman redeemer,
Moses a type of leader and judge, Melchizedek a type of eternal king-priest, David and Israel were both types of firstborn sons, Israel and job were types of suffering servant.
these types were literally true but were eventually fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ.

On top of that, who would the lyrical "we" in the prophecy be other than Isaiah speaking for the nation of Isreal? Meaning that Isreal is the one distinct from the suffering servant, reflecting and responding to him in shame and repentance -- may Isreal corporately experience this repentance towards the Suffering Servant and say "He bore our griefs..."

When you read Jeremiah 7 with Acts 7 where Steven addressed the Council you'll read the extent of the rebellion of the nation of Israel.
