It is crazy that for the same reason, is why there is no real definition for the word “tree” in science. we just call it a tree, a bush or a vine bc of what it looks like and nothing to do with its genetic make up! They don’t have anything in common across all species to categorize them in any scientific fashion and that always made me laugh.

Just saying; humans are very gradually losing teeth/jaw strength, relying on processed(cooked down/concentrated) food that requires little if any chewing, and the nerve system in our hands favors the thumb and index finger. Lose a pinky, nothing is affected. Lose a thumb, thats a learning curve. Our foot structure is in the process of evolving in the same way of horses/ostrich/kangaroo tho.
