Videos!!!! And lots of them!!!! In that first year you are so tired and dysfunctional that you don’t fully enjoy it all. You’re in survival mode. So take videos of sleeping. Videos of laughing. Videos of playing….. all of it🥰

I used to wish my babies would get to certain milestones quicker. I hate, now, that I wished their infancy away… I miss the baby stage and would like to be a volunteer grandmother as my kids say they won’t be having children…

I don’t remember those early years. And I was always taking the pictures so I’m not in any of them. I regret that. My children are grown and there’s no more than 3-4 photos of them with their mom.
