i have the decathlon quechua and they are amazing! so comfy and are still going so strong after a year of wearing!

for water bottles use Smartwater bottles if you have a Sawyer water filter, they have the same thread, otherwise use nalgene if you can. nalgene’s warranty is AMAZING

I would also recommend Rydale’s walking trousers and merino wool walking socks. Both are fast drying and I’ve never got blisters with the socks. Mountain Warehouse merino ones are also great!

I really only like hiking boots when it’s extremely muddy, they have too much support so you end up not building the muscles around your foot/ankle and it becomes easier to get hurt. Some good trail runners for most hikes and build that strength.

For water bottles I’d also recommend Nalgene because it’s much lighter to carry! And it’s easy to hook onto things! Your water won’t stay super cold but metal water bottles can be so heavy

I’ve got a north face backpack shoved in the back of the cupboard because I use my dickies Lisbon! It’s so much lighter and comfier, I have picked up a tiny 6L mountain warehouse for shorter hikes too
