@belovedcabin: Living off-grid in a 500 sq.ft DIY shed house with 100+ rescue animals. If you’re an animal lover… you probably know how this story goes. You rescue one… then another… and eventually you just stop counting. Around here the cats and dogs come and go as they please, which also means we don’t deal with litter boxes everywhere. Small wins. We started this life with $1,000 and an old camper, and somehow it turned into this little homestead. Now we work from home selling digital guides about how we built this life, and we also host workshops and tiny house stays here on the property. That helps cover animal food, care, and vet bills… because with this many animals, let’s just say the food bill alone could bankrupt a person if you’re not careful budgeting.
