I made this song! Found this post really inspiring actually because I have a lot of anxiety around being alone and really lack confidence to solo travel!! I used to travel around the world alone no problem, but then after a bout of panic attacks I’ve found it so difficult! Thankfully my gf rolls with me everywhere as I travel for work the whole time. Hopefully I can gradually get back to it

I was the same. Never really travelled or went on holiday. But I love the world and want to see everything. Booked a trip to Bali solo last year at the grand old age of 36. Best thing I ever did. All the things you worry about - are nothing! Just go and enjoy. If recommend anyone to just go for it!

Yess! Other people don’t care if you’re alone as they’re all too busy with their own lives. There are places I’d love to go but feel too scared to go alone as a woman - would love to go somewhere in a group!

We all start somewhere. I started in Europe for a few days then built! Last year Miami, Dominican Republic, Borneo, Cadiz, Seville and Madrid! It becomes addictive 😁

Good on you and massive well done for showing up for yourself, I did my first solo trip to New York in September 2023 and had a full blown panic attack at the airport and it took everything in me to get on that plane, but I'm so proud of myself for doing it. You are a force to be reckoned with and as my tattoo says go grab life x

my first solo trip was to Iceland & I loved it. I went to dublin last year on my own & fought my fear of going into a bar alone - ended up getting battered on cider & making loads of new friends for the night 😂

This is my aim for the year ahead. Having just come out of a long term abusive relationship that I stayed in for far too long because I was scared to do life alone. I am determined to do exactly that. I suffer with anxiety massively but my ultimate goal for the year ahead is to attempt a solo trip abroad for a long weekend 😬
