To all the adults going “maybe I need a workbook” please grab one! It’s no different than the foundation of a house, if your foundation isn’t steady and stable, you’re not. Spelling and math are like any other skill, use it or lose it!

As a kid each summer I would BEG my mom to take me to barnes and noble to pick out workbooks! I genuinely had so much fun learning ahead and teachers notice!

As someone who did workbooks during the summer in school, YES! I was a grade above in reading and I tested out of math during college applications so I 1000% am here for workbooks/active learning during the summers

my kids have to do workbooks, work sheets and book reports every summer. they always complain but I always take them out to restaurants, play areas, libraries and parks too. I teach them if you work hard, you can play hard too

I did these every summer, and as I look back, It literally did not take away any of my “summer fun” I spent 30min-1hr a day and I don’t even remember it. I do remember my parents would give me $1 for every two pages I did lol

I used to have to do workbooks all summer!! My elementary school actually gave us some for free, the covers were holographic and it had math, English, science, and art projects! I miss those.
