for those of us working mommas with multiple kids (i have 4) sickness this year has been awful! each one of my kids was sick back to back for a week a piece, then it would hit AGAIN. trying to work and find childcare during all of that was sooooo hard

I read somewhere that as an overachiever your 75% is like other people's 100% so don't give your 100% everywhere and taking that attitude into my last job was an absolute game changer as a single mom. I was WAY less stressed and actually enjoyed my job.

We recently moved out of state. No village anymore. In the past two months I returned from maternity, my kids have been sick, my son has been rescheduled for surgery, I’ve had appointments, and daycare keeps closing. I have to keep calling in or leaving early but I always make sure my stuff is done. It’s still soo draining to constantly think I’m not a good employee because I’m being a mom.

I feel that in my soul. Before I had my kid I was doing special hand crafted things and special events. I now have passed this torch to someone else. but if you need me added cookies to my grocery list or extra plates, I am your girl! lol
