GLM 5.1 is out. this is competing at the level of Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4 in most benchmark and even scores ahead in others. the most critical thing is it is Open weight, and you can use Unsloth setup to run it locally on a single Mac. imagine a model free and local on your home setup. it can work for you 24/7, the limiting factor is just your electricity. we need to figure real fast how best to use Ai to improves our lives. as intelligence grows, and certainly will improve tremendously in the next few months, we gotta invent ways to use it to improve ourselves and ultimately the world around us. my philosophy is, Ai must be able to solve the world economic problems by a good percentage if it is worth it. currently Ai is into that direction, that's why Sam Altman is speaking about universal basic income, that Ai will already be doing most economic tasks and earn excessive income from the markets, which should trickle down to people otherwise Ai will be harmful to them. we hope to see brighter future for everyone. - @web3aible
