@favourrrr_ike: Was the finished look worth N50k? 🥺 be honest The simple story behind all this, I tried chatting with the salon to know the price before I come, but I didn’t get a response. Finally found my way there after missing my way twice (even with the use of map) 😂 They washed my hair (by then I was all settled and waiting for my turn and the stylist who’ll make mine). I asked the price they said 50k and I was speechless at first (it included the washing of hair though). At that point I couldn’t just walk out, so I stayed. What I liked about the place was, they were apologetic about the littlest things (if the hair pains a little they’re saying sorry immediately and the most random things), I didn’t know I’d pay attention to such. Also, after she saw my countenance about the whole cutting part, I was ready to leave like that and fix it myself at home, cause I was already getting pissed off. But she said “I’m not letting you leave here like this” and I also liked that. That was when she brought up the idea to curl the front part 😊 I liked the outcome. Had to turn it into a fringe wig 2 days after, cause I’ve always wanted a fringe straight wig and the curls were hard to recreate like the first day. I can see it might be a Jean lace, so maybe the quality isn’t the best. Also, I feel the Steampod heat could have been reduced a bit the back looks slightly over-pressed. It’s not completely ruined though. Maybe next time you could try heatless curls to maintain the hair better.
