also not working well in a group is a CONSISTENT spider-man trait across all known universes. Every comic iteration of spider-man, even andrew and tobey’s spiders (and partially Tom’s) don’t do groups, despite being the one of the friendliest hero’s in universe. Spider-man without fail ALWAYS operates as a person in a cluster rather than part of a group like you said, so it makes sense that all the spider-people together would operate similarly

People who say this also forget that miles was caught multiple times actually. By Gwen she let him go, by Ben he used his electricity, by Peter, and then by Miguel. Like miles wasn’t made OP by the writers like some of these haters say he was.

Notice how Hobie is the only Spider-Man to help him? He also knows how to work in a group due to being in a band. Every other Spider person has that main character syndrome where they act solely for themselves as a single unit rather than a collective group. The only other Spider Man that would work in this idea of not being a ‘main character’ with his mindset is Spider Man in the marvel films where he does work in a group with the other heroes.
