Dewey Redman would often sing the exact same pitches he was playing - totally different sound. Not a growl… but a really cool effect as well.

Thanks, finally got it! That humming and whistling or blowing made it clear for me. Also figured out I can do some cool whistling dissonence.

The first one has to do with ombeshur or however you spell it and the second one is a growl but in the horn
