yeah, but not everyone will easily be able to beat their fear. it definitely takes patience and practice. fear creates physical sensations that can feel like we are gonna di3. but the majority of our fear stems from the ego. the ego loves control & safety so when someone experiences fear regarding things like identity, reputation, possible embarrassment, future possibilities, past failures, a task, relationship stuff (excluding dangerous physical fear here), etc, their ego will create a defense mechanism by causing anxiety and amplifying what it perceives as a threat. when this type of fear occurs, we feel the same physical sensations (like racing heartbeat, raised blood pressure, adrenaline, anxiety) as actual physical danger. the brain cannot distinguish between a real threat & a perceived threat to your self image. both types of fear activate the same amygdal driven fight-or-flight response to protect you, regardless of whether the danger is real (survival) or imaginary (ego). the ego thrives on making you feel small & worried, viewing the unknown as a threat to its existence. when people learn the difference between physical fear & fear created by thinking of future things (ego-based), we can learn to teach our subconscious mind that it’s safe & not actually being threatened. but we have to do that consciously by repeatedly observing & teaching it this, creating a pattern, which the majority will lack without the willingness & understanding to provide conscious safety to the subconscious. am i making sense lol it’s actually hard for most ppl to consciously redirect their own thoughts to get out of their ego. you have to separate your awareness from your ego (subconscious) to break the constant perception as a threat. ok im just yapping now but the subconscious mind controls like 95% of what we do & we tend to consciously become aware after the subconscious already chose what to do. it takes deep, repetitive thinking. the ego is literally a bitch 🤣
