@alexander_dahlgren_jawad: This is where the homework gets interesting. For every space you want to address in your home renovation, you're going to assemble at least 10 images. Each one needs a single sentence explaining what you like about it. Not the whole room — it could be one item, a color relationship, a feeling. That one sentence is the clue. That's how we begin to understand your individual style. Then you do it again with rooms you don't like. Be brutal. Be specific. This is just as valuable. Here's why it matters. Words are unreliable. When someone tells me they want a space that's cozy, or warm, or one that lifts their spirit, I don't know what that means — because it means something completely different to you than it does to me. Images don't lie. They make things clear in a way that language never can. And if you're doing this without a designer, this exercise becomes your most important communication tool — between you and whoever you share this home with. Both people get real input. Look for the commonalities. Those become your non-negotiables. Those are the things that absolutely must be included. When the homework is done, you will know your style. No showroom trips required. Great home design doesn't start with finishes. It starts with function. Don't let your home be a stunner that can't hold a job. This is exactly the kind of thing I help people with. It would be so great to see you go through this process with somebody’s specific pictures (real person or made up example.) It sounds so interesting!

do you have a video on types of storage? If not do you have any better search ideas than "different kitchen storage ideas" that doesnt lead me to advertisements and wonky magazine like lists that dont further my knowledge? am I consuming these resources wrong or am I in the wrong place?

planning for the future: how do you incorporate meaningful furniture into new designs? for instance, I have inherited some furniture pieces from family members that I love and cherish, and I need to make them work in my future space (thankfully I'm eclectic)

do you ever get weird ideas? like we are using our dining room as an office because I like to talk to my spouse while they're cooking and I'm working.

We're going to redo our master bedroom, bathroom, and closet. Better believe I'm gonna give you a call before we touch anything. Your expertise would be money well spent.

Do you do design projects that are trying to do a vintage, period correct 1920s/30s era bathroom? I feel I need some help, and contractors I talk to don’t have a clue with what I want. Maybe a proper design would help when I’m hiring it out eventually.

I built Fülhaus to help people understand their inspiration and communicate using inspo because “contemporary, modern and MCM” are stupid descriptors of nothing

Such spectacular advice for starting any design process! I am relating this to my Landscape design experience and noticing how I can improve that in like manner. P.S. As a horse lover, the horse sculpture behind you caught my eye 🤍🐎.
