We do a week and Friday is a half day. On that Thursday is a late day and if we stay late to do conferences which is 3-7 we can leave at 12 to go home on the half day

We have 2 nights of conferences from 2-8pm, following a day of school! So the kids leave and then conferences begin. HOWEVER....we have that Friday off (worked that into our contract a few years ago! )

We do 3-7 too! But I do student led so they hold the bulk of the responsibility of communicating their progress and showing work samples. I breeze through at the end of each conference and check in!

You’re a soldier! I try to have my conference forms pre-filled with strengths, concerns, grades, current data and next steps at school and at home. This way I have talking points and parents usually don’t have many questions after that and it’s pretty fast paced. Hope this helps! 🙏🏾
