I usually set timers, but still a struggle. I think its because he loves outside more than anything. by the way, did you guys dye carters hair? it used to be blonde, and now its brown. 🥺 they're growing up so fast

These 2 tricks helped me tremendously with my daughter’s melt downs when we had to leave the library. We’ve been going to story time and alphabet adventures there for 2 years and she went from the kid screaming and hiding from me to super calm and ready to clean up before we leave. I have learned they don’t care if I tell them how many minutes they have left so I tell them I’m gna start a timer and when it goes off it’s time to go.

I always looked at it as proactive parenting rather than reactive. if they know what's happening and understand the consequences along with having the ability to negotiate them life is easier
