I definitely have to check this out. I'd also love to hear your take on Enemy Mine (1985). I saw it exactly once before when I was like 4 or 5 and it just always stuck with me but I ultimately forgot a lot of the plot. I rewatched it recently and it put so much of my nonbinary life in perspective 😅
